Emmons Steel Guitar Amp, Model E-24. Two channels normal and reverb side, with a foot switch jack on the front of the face plate (silver) for tremelo. On the front upper right hand corner of the face plate it has Emmons Guitar Company, Burlington, North Carolina clearly printed on the face plate. Reverb (it is spring reverb) pan is mounted to the chassis, on the back of the chassis it has a metal embossed ID plate, stating EMMONS GUITAR COMPANY, Burlington, NC. Amp probably had 2-12 speakers, it came loaded with a 15" 8 ohm JBL E-130. The Emmons logo or badge on the front of the amp is located in the upper center of the amp and it is metal, it is not plastic. The amp is covered in black vinyl/tolex, and rated at 140 watts.
Question - does anyone have any history or idea who may have made these amps for Emmons Co., at that time and what might be the age of this "rare find". Doesn't sound too bad either, it "ain't a Webb" but it's not too bad!

We've tossed this one around b4. As I recall, they were made in the 70's by Standel and later on by TubeWorks.

Larry -
Thanks so much for the info., sorry I missed it before. The amp is more of a novelty I guess than anything. Come to think of it the knobs do look like the Standel amps of the past. Thanks again for the input.
