I played a bar gig last night (Hogs & Heifers) with both banjo & mando in the band at the same time and between a bad house system, a bad sound man, and lord knows what-all the two pickers were using it was like living in a feedback tunnel. I sure hope you can find something that works. I don't know anything about the feedback eliminators but I wonder if this would be a good application for one.

I use the SansAmp Acoustic DI for my mandolin pickup. Great preamp. For guitar I use the Baggs Para DI with 5 bands of EQ. It's very flexible and the two sweepable mids can help both the low feedback frequency as well as the midrange honk.

Larry, you should check out a GHS round hole microphone. It is easy to install and works wonderful. No feedback or boom problems.
About $125.00 list. By far the best I have ever found for Dobro.
