I've encountered one or two steelers using a Peavey KB Series amp for steel, however I have not tried one out myself. But, the equalization circuit of a KB amp is different in that you can boost or cut a fixed frequencies on the KB 100 for example.
Whereas, on the Nashville 112 and Nashville 1000 amplifier, the LOW, MID, HIGH and PRESENCE controls are fixed with a mid/shift function for the critical mid range area.
