Since I am relitively new to the Forum, I need to know where I can get the "Miracle Audio" mod kit or the one from "LeMay" - they may be the same. I have an '83 500 that I bought new. Recently compared it with a 500 that had the "Miracle Audio" mod. The one with mod WAS much cleaner.
Thanx,
Jim |

I have a very nice Vegas 400 that I played Sunday night and what a refreshing great sound it had. I have a LeMay mod for it but have never installed it. Does anyone have a Vegas 400 with the mod and if so what improvement was there. I had forgotten what a great amp this was.

I bought a pristine 500 3 years ago and called Miracle Audio and installed the mod kit myself. The instructions were clear enough for me with my limited experience of soldering, I managed to do it in an evening and put it back together and "Presto" it not only worked fine but sounded great. I have since retired the 500 for a new webb and will put the 500 out to pasture. |

I have a Vegas 400 with the Lemay mod. I also have one that doesn't have the mod. The modified one is distinctly "sweeter." One of these days I'll buy another kit. Although I actually have to send Vegas #2 to Peavey for some work so I'll probably have them do their mod to it. I've heard it's just as good.

How about a "mod" to make it weigh less? |

Jim, Peavey also offers a kit for your Session 500. No one knows the amp circuit like the engineers who designed the amp.
Contact me toll free in the U.S. at 1-877-732-8391 and I'll be glad to discuss this kit with you. Here is a link from the Peavey website concerning our mod kits; http://www.peavey.com/support/steelguitaristinfo/
