I play in a room regularly where all surfaces are hard and glossy. So far I've had to sit the amp on the floor tilting it up against the wall which is not the best situation. I want to design some kind of stand for my amp to not only angle up towards me but perhaps act as a sort of reflex (for the sound coming out of the rear of the open back amp), helping the bottom end while reducing the glassy harsh stuff...hopefully. Probably make it(the stand) out of plywood. Maybe line it with some kind of material to help absorb the highs. Any ideas for the best materials for this?
eggcarton?
felt?
flat black paint?

I'm not sure, but do you want to make something like this?

Its a amp stand that has a folded cabinet to push the sound from the back of the amp out to the front.
Sound enhancer
