I have decided to go with a 10 inch speaker for my 8-10 watt reel-reel player tube amp that i'm using with my lap steel. Bob suggested Tone Tubbies but I was looking for something in the under $50.00 price. The Eminence I was looking at was a Legend 105.8. Does anyone have an opinion on any of these or another speaker?

Not sure about the new ones, but the
old Jensen C10Q's are terrific!
The reissues are supposedly similar
in design & they're inexpensive.

Wayne, I have a 12" speaker that I believe is an Eminence. It has no name on it, but it was removed from a Mesa/Boogie and I think that's what they were using at the time. It sounds good for steel - I used it as a satellite speaker for years. It feels like it's probably rated for 30-40 watts.

I'd sell it for $50 plus shipping, if you're interested.

Jack, the Black Shadow was made by Celestion.
Bob, thanks for the offer but think i'll wait awhile. I have room in my amp cabinet for a 6" speaker. I am going to put a 6" Jensen in it to use for practice. I want to make a retro cabinet and put a 10 or 12" speaker in it. My amp has a 1/4" speaker connection but some one said not to use a guitar cable for a speaker.
Has anyone used Weber VST's? I've read some good reviews on them.
