went to play the gig and the power/volume
kept changing/swelling up and down?
anybody run a cross this?

How old is the tube in the unit?

Tom, I discussed the symptoms with one of our technicians who repairs the programmable products here in the service department and he stated that it could be a number of considerations. No one thing stands out as a particular problem, but the first place that he would check is the motorized potentiometers. Other than this, I suggest that you reinitialize the Tubefex by pressing and holding the DOWN and RIGHT arrow buttons and turn the power on while holding them for approximately 2-3 seconds.

This procedure will revert all custom presets to factory settings, so if you wish to save your custom presets, use a RAM cartridge and reload them after reinitializing the unit.
