I just became the user of Cakewalk home studio 9 and I'm hoping someone is knowledgeable there.

Jack,
I use Sonar 2.0, which is essentially the big brother to Cakewalk HS. I know my way around it pretty well. Don't hesitate to send me EMail with questions anytime . . . or post it here if you think it's of general interest. You'd probably want to post in the COMPUTERS section, however, since it's software and not electronics.

As a cubase to Sonar/Cakewalk convert of about three years standing, welcome to the club.
You are going to enjoy things like the Session Drummer- I've not programmed a drum loop since I got it!
Cheers
Dave

I just bought SonarXL 2.2 and companion CD called Drumatic. I've been going through the tutorial but it is a steep learning curve for an old analog guy. I actually bought it more for creating drum parts and editing as I record to an Alesis HD24 24 track digital recorder.
