I have an old dual preamp dp2r and
it has a huge "power box"? attached to the power cord about midway.I am guessing its the power supply. Is there any way to eliminate this box so that the amp will fit in my rack or so i dont have to carry the cord and box seperately?
Any help would be great,
trap truly

Trap, I have one of those but mine has the power supply built in. My friend had one with the power supply outside. If you call Ed Buffington at Evans I think he could help you eliminate the outside power supply. Incidently, that is a very good preamp.
