I am trying out a TubFex and I am trying to get some presets set up in it, the factory presets are pretty mutch garbage, so I was just wondering if anyone would have a SYSEX file that they could send me with some good presets for this unit.

I found these on the web, they are supposed to be the Jeff Newman presets. Don't have a tubefex or any way to check the accuracy or what, but here's a link... I'd assume, like with any processor, you may have to tweak the presets slightly in order to best match the coloration by your rig (other effex, power amp, speaker cabinet, cables, volume pedal, guitar, pickups, your playing technique etc...)

Check out the tfex patches here also.

be prepared to spend some time tweaking EQ's and trying different input/output, effect mix levels etc.

I mostly use TB>RV>DL or TB>RV.

I sent Bob the Sysex file for Jeff Newman's settings with the tube preamp added. He loaded them and is all set. If anyone else would like the file, let me know. You'll need a MIDI connection to your computer and Sysex software to do the transfer.
