I have a kustom 60 watt mixer amp that I use for some recording. It has 2 speaker jacks 4ohms each. I am not getting anything out of these jacks but the line out still works fine. I took it apart and looked for broken wires or loose solder joints but found nothing. Any ideas?

I have seen some amps employ INTERNAL fuses for protecting speaker outputs. These are usually done to "save us from ourselves". They are usually the typical clear, glass automobile fuses.

Sometimes relays are used to switch on the speakers. Do you recall hearing a relay click when you turn this device on? It's contacts may have gone bad.

Paul, thanks a lot for the info. Yes there is a fuse on the circuit board very close to where the wires for the speakers jacks are. I'll check that out and see if that is the problem. Thanks again.
