If someone could give me some,out of the box,settings for a Nashville 1000 I would appreciate it.This would give me a place to start. Thanks up front for the replies.

Familiar topic. These setting are also on Peaveys website. Good starting point

pre gain 3 to 6

Bass 3

Mid -9 to -15

shift 800

high 0 to 3
Presence 0 to 3

reverb as desired

Master 5 to whatever ..hold your ears...

Kenny,even tho I`m a Peavey fan and loved my Nashville 1000,I could never get a good sound out of it without my Digitech 2120.Amp itself didn`t have a sound but in combination with 2120 was great.Planty of power and with 710`s on guitar, close as you can get to "contemporary" sound of the steel guitar.

I can't explain why, but I have noticed a significant difference in attack on the NV 1000 depending on where you set your pre and master gains. If they're closer together, (or no farther apart than they absolutely have to be), you get more "snap" out of it.

Here's a review of the Nashville 1000 by Danny Hullihen that features a listing of the setting used (at a 1999 Jam) by some players.
