What is the difference between the Vegas and the Session? EQ? Power section? Cabinet size? What is it about the old Sessions that people love so much? Does the Nashville 1000 finally replace it for the die hard Session users?

Just curious,

the old sessions used transistors in the front end and vegas used op amps, I just replaced my transforner in my session and used one from a vegas/nashville amp so for power i think you will find the session is the same as the vegas

Besides the obvious differences in the preamp section(Session is a single channel and the Vegas has two separate channels), Jim pretty much explained the difference.

As for why some steelers prefer one model over the other, that's a hard one to explain unless you have personal experiences with each of the models. From my experiences, all of our past models have their own "signature" sound, just as the Nashville 1000 has its signature sound.

Through our continuous R & D, we hope that every new product that we introduced is not one that attempts to "reinvent the wheel". We hope that we can bring new ideas to the table for steelers. I have received many ideas and suggestions in the past that are "doable". So keep them coming. You may send your ideas to;
