Sadly, Bruce Clarke told me he only sold ONE "Andy Iona Collection Set" ... from his May Special offerings.
Y'all have heard lots of recordings of this tune ... by some real "Heavy-weights" ...
Have a listen to Andy Iona's version of Whispering Lullaby ... off Vol 6
I've never heard its equal ... have you ??

Simply beautiful...
I believe Andy is next on my list (I bought Radio Sol and Dick McIntire vol. 1). I like to savor them one album at a time... |

Hi Rick, Make that 2 sets. A friend in Honolulu and I ordered both 6 packs on May 30th. (Andy Iona & Dick McIntire) We were forced to send our money via Western Union in order to qualify for the May special. (OUCH! $22. transaction fee) Through a misunderstanding I didn't send Bruce my transaction number so he could access my moneygram at his post office. That has been straightened out in the past two days.

Rick;
Have you heard David Kelii's version of Whispering Lullaby (Whispering Reef) on his one and only (Self-Titled)-LP on the Maple Label Stereo MA 1004 [Sweet Sweet Steel Guitar Series No. 4]

Just got an email from Bruce Clarke ...
quote:
Of course I'm a Dick (McIntire) fan - his tone, attack, expression are unique. Dick outsells Andy by about three to one.
But I'm also a double Andy fan!
He somehow grabs you in ways that no-one else does.
He then asks for some feedback from y'all about another project :
quote: Oh Yes : I almost forgot ...
"The Hawaiian Hotshots Practice Kit"
This will contain some 14 tracks from Hawaiian Days & Strike Again (Bruce Clarkes own CDs offered by Cumquat) without the steel.
These are actually all done - but the TAB is the problem.
I can't decide whether to make it a single CD with seperate hard copies OR a double CD - with TAB 'ready to print out' on the second CD.
The 2 x CD idea would be neater & easier from my point of view.
Perhaps you might be able to give me your opinion OR run it around the Forum. The price will be determined by the amount of work needed to clean up the TAB
I like the 2 CD idea ... what about y'all ? |

I also like the two CD idea. It would probably be easier to ship without the weight of the papers. |

The 2 CD idea sounds good to me. Getting tab to study along with the recorded music is alot of bang for the buck. |
