Jim, when you want to play steel, turn the Super-Bro switch to OFF and the controls are not active because it completely by-passes the Super-Bro.
As for the "dobro" sound....the beauty is in the "EARS" of the beholder! Adjust that sucker to where the sound pleases YOU! www.genejones.com |

Setting the knobs at 10:00 and 2:00 is a good place to start. |

Jim, when you switch on the Super-Bro be sure you turn off any delay or reverb on your amp. Mine also works best at 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock. If you want to experiment, try using a piece of dowel rod or cut the end off of a broom stick for the bar...just for fun. You will get a different sound! Tom |

On my Match-Bro, I installed a 2nd 1/4" jack on the bottom where the regular out jack is located. When I had a delay unit that had a footswitch control, I had a cord running from this extra out jack to the footswitch in jack on the delay unit. I then wired it into the on/off switch for the Dobro sound. When, I switched the switch on the Matchbro to Dobro, it automatically cut off the delay unit. |
