Check out Tubeworks (now owned by Genz-Benz) MosValve 500. Plenty of power, reliable, sound good, reletively cheap. They are solid state. I hear that Paul Franklin uses them. If you want a tube power amp, I like VHT. |

You might try a Mosvalve 1500 for more power on stage. I use a 1500 with LeMay-modded ProfexII thru two Peavey 115's. Love the sound. |

OOps! My error. MosValve 500 is the model when Tubeworks made them. It is now a MosValve 1500. Same model, different name. |

THE PEAVEY DPC 1400, 500 WATTS INTO 4OHM, ONE RACK SPACE, NICELY PRICED and only15 or so pound`s. QSC-PLX 2604 700 WATT`S PER SIDE,2 RACK SPACES, 22 POUND`S. Stewart`s are popular with steel player`s I would recomend the bigger one 1.2 I believe it`s called the 600 only has 230 watt`s at 8 ohm`s. If your going rack get the extra power, headroom to the sky, let`s that 300 watt speaker kick.
