Hello,
I just bought an older fender vol-tone pedal and it's a fixer. It has a lot of rust on the inside and one of the springs busted from rust.
If anyone has any advice on restoring the pedal,I would greatly appreciate hearing it.Also, where can I get a replacement spring and possibly some new string to replace the old stuff?
Thanks a bunch for any help.

You might try Parkrose hardware or Wink's hardware (both in Portland). Both will have a good selection of springs. Check with Sierra Pedal Steel Company for the string. I used a good nylon string from the hardware store for mine!
