I have 2 SE-200's and I can't imagine anything better. If you think it sounds good now, just slip a Black Widow or JBL in it and then stand back! |

I have an Evans SE-200 with the high voltage preamp upgrade. I tried a Black Widow 1501-4 and a JBL-E130 and was an improvement over the stock Eminence speaker. However, I just installed a Weber California 4 ohm 15" vintage speaker with a paper cone and what a difference. The warmth and airy sound from this speaker is something. The wattage rating on the speaker is only 85 watts and the amp is rated at 200 wats. However, I used the amp this week with the new speaker and there was no problem and I was crankin it! I also have an Evans SE-150 with the High voltage preamp and it sounds better with the Black Widow. Go figure!

Jack, it probley isnt any more, Parkersburg now is a ghost town, there is NO department stores at all in this stinking town,,nothing but lawyer office's and bars. it's a shame that when the mall moved in the town closed down...we will be moving next year and it cant come any to soon...lol
