Topic: Session 2000 Facing Extinction? |

Is this true? This amp has only been out a couple of years. Is there a 2001 Session or something coming out to replace it or is Peavey getting out of the stereo amp business? Mike?

| As I understand, it's already happened! They no longer make the amp because certain SMD (surface-mount devices) they chose for the design are no longer made. If they are going to phase it out maybe they could re-issue the Session 400, just like the old ones except for the mod kit already installed. How 'bout it Mike Brown?

| The Session 400 was reissued as the Session 400LTD. I doubt that Peavey would reissue it again. It is old technology. |

I have a older Sessions 400 (1970 something series) that I woundn't trade. Put it up aginst the "NASHVILLE 400" any time. The only thing that keeps me from using it on a regular basis,is that it's very heavey. Eventho I have it on wheels,it's still heavey.
