Does anyone know what would cause a ticking sound that speeds up when the tremelo knob is turned?I'm thinking a leaky cap or bad tube in the tremolo circuit.I suppose I could use it for a metronome but doubt that's what Leo Fender had in mind.

If it's in an opto-isolator style tremelo in a Fender amp, Put a .02/ 600volt cap across the opto-isolator, from the 10 Meg resistor to ground. That'll cure it!
