I'm suppose to be trading for a LXP-1 before long. Whats the difference? Thanks, Gary |

Hi Gary,
I believe that the LXP-1 has much better reverbs then the ProFex. As for effects I am not sure. Also, I am not sure how flexible the editing features of the LXP-1 are. If you like to tinker the ProFex could be a better unit except for the reverbs.
Best regards,

Hey Gary,
This old LXP-1 of mine is the warmest,
smoothest sounding reverb I've ever tried.
You can fine tune the parameters in them
thru the midi input only. The delays &
chorus/flange settings are great but of course, you can't really combine them.
I noticed in John Hughey's rack theres an
LXP-1 & an LXP-5 sitting side by side. |

The LXP-1 will not have any distortion presets available. |

The lexicon verbs are much sweeter, But I
don't think its a Pre-amp like the ProFex 11.
So if your just needing the verb go with the
lexicon, if you need the Pre amp thing, then
the Pro fex is pretty cool for the money. Greg |
