Anyone using a JBL K140 in a Twin Reverb???
What is the difference between the D, E and K series?

From what I've been told, the K-130 is identical to the D-130F exept black instead of grey. The introduction of the K-130 had something to do with circumventing a federally imposed manufacturing price freeze at the time.

The 140 is the Bass speaker. 130 is the guitar speaker. I suppose you could use a 140; but you may not like the output sound as much.
K series is what came after the D series when they discontinued the D. Junior Brown uses the K's and they are killer.

I like the 140, plenty highs and tons of real good lows, oh, and the mids are there also.

Oops! Sorry, I misread the question vis a vis a K-130 vs. K-140.
