HSGA member Chuck Lettes' recordings of "Nuages", the Django Reinhardt classic, and the Hawaiian favorite "Sweet Someone" can now be heard on the Hawaiian Steel Guitar Association's Members Recordings page.

Chuck recorded these tunes on his Rickenbacker Frypan using a modified C6 tuning (FGACEG) lo-hi.

Thank you Chuck for sharing these tasteful and beautiful recordings. They are a wonderful addition to the site.

Wow,

This is the first time I ever heard Chuck Lettes. What a beautiful touch.

To Chuck,

I love your picking style. You got it nailed friend. So crystal clear is each note or chord. Your harmonics are pure and come close to the master Jerry Byrd.

May our Lord continue to nurture your talents,

carl

Aaah! Yes,

One of my heroes from first hearing him on
Tony Prior's "Live 365" show.
