What is the chain of effects, and how are they set to attain the quasi-dobro sound?

Thanks,
Nick Anderson

The "CF" parameter should be CM. There was an error in my original Jeff Newman Profex II listings that I had posted. It's been corrected on the current listing I have at my site. All the "CF" parameters have been changed to "CM".

I'd suggest anyone that downloaded the original list download the corrected list.

Jack,

I found that the settings in the "CM" chain seem to be CF settings rather than compression settings. What are the correct settings for sustain, release, and so on?

Also, it appears that CM has been substituted for CF in every patch where CF appeared. This seems to be an error.

Just wondering???

I think I have it straight now. The "CF" effect is undocumented in the Peavey manuals. I've looked at both the Profex II and the Transtube Fex manuals and the "CF" effect is not listed in either manual. However, the #113 program, that Smiley listed above, displays the "CF" for the apparent flange effect on my Transtube Fex. The "CM" Compressor is listed in both manuals.

I have updated the listings, again, on my web site to show the "CF" in the (apparent) flange effects and "CM" in the compressor effects.

I hope this straightens it out. I have no intention of listing erroneous data.

Jack,

I was wondering if I was missing something somewhere along the line. Thanks for clearing it up.
