Has enyone tryed a BBE 386 pre amp on steel? dana

If the BBE 386 is the Bass preamp I had one and recently sold it. It did sound very good but I opted for the Roland GP-100 because it had the all the bells & whistles.

The 386 is the acoustic preamp.I used one for awhile and liked the basic sound quality;it`s really clean.I traded it for an Evans though because I wanted more guitar-amp like tone controls
