I said awhile ago, & will repeat.....
these amps weigh a TON!!!
Used ones shouldn't be more than a couple
hundred dollars. Not very practical though.
Unless your getting it real cheap...look
for something else. |

We use 6 of the new CS800X amps for our Church sound system, and they are great amps. They are smaller than the old CS800's (3 rack spaces instead of 4 or 5) but they are still heavy. I believe they put out around 600 watts per channel at 4 ohms. For carrying around, a Peavey DPC750, 1000, or 1400 would be much better. |

The latest version of the CS800, which is the CS800S which weighs in at 37lbs.. This version has the switching power supply. The previous versions weighed around 65-70lbs.. (off the top of my head). |
