Bill;
Of course, I'm predjudice, but; if I had your guitar it would have to be tuned like this:
8str. neck C6/A7:
Lo-A=.072w, C=.040w, C#=.038w, E=.032w, G=.026w, A=.-22p, C=.018p, E=.015p.
7str. neck C-Diatonic:
E=.032w, F=.030w, G=.026w, A=.022p, B=.020p, C=.-18p, E=.015p.
Just my preferences!

I also have a 7/8 string Console Grande.
I have an A, high bass tuning on the 7 string tuned as such, from high to low:
E C# A E C# A E.
On the 8 string neck I have the C6th tuning. From high to low: E C A G E C A G.
I go back back a loooooong way and the A, high bass is the tuning I learned on and I'm not about to give it up now!

Hey, Bill,
Since you don't use the punctuation or shift keys, why do you even bother using the space bar?

Gentlemen, please behave yourselves. If you have any punctuation or spelling issues, take it off line.
I'm closing this topic as the question has been answered.
