Dolly will tour over here in the early spring. Does anyone know what we can expect. Is she all-acoustic these days or what.

You can probably see those coming already!

If you're lucky she'll still have her blue grass band.
She put out a live CD about a year ago of this recent era that looked super from the songs listed.

I couldn't stand her with Porter and having that vocal vibrato, but after seeing her open the door in 'Best Little Whorehouse In Texas', well...

I think with her last few CDs she has been the best thing in country music for decades.

Jerry Byrd told me of the time she and her Dad came rambling/shambling into town, Trashville, to try her luck at being a star, and him guiding them to the right people to get the future legend her start.
Too bad she never had him on any of her work.

Hey Per
It's great that Dolly comes to Denmark - because of the time of year that will be an indoor show, as far as I know with a space for about 4500 people. Have you tried to get tthe price if the tickets - my friends have - about 420 US dollars each. Too much I think - sure the tickets will be sold.

She is coming to Oslo as well. At Oslo Spektrum, and the 8000 $tickets will be sold (out!) from Saturday morning for 550NOK ($85).
Hope she's bringing a bluegrass band like she had on the Little Sparrow and Grass is blue albums. Those two albums are my definitive favourite "modern" bluegrass albums… It's her first time in Norway since the seventies I think. And she is playing Bergen as well…

Turbo,

Tickets in Denmark will be from around 1000 dkr - and down. For you US $ fans that's around 160.
I'm going for sure. I've been a Dolly fan since the early 70's and this might be the only chance I get.
