I like this song it sounds old. Is it a remake?

I heard it tonight. Don't give the stuff away, SELL IT! I'm sorry. I just went all stereotypical there.
But, then again. A slightly soiled four-poster bed could be worth a few bob.
I'm not sure, but I think it is a Bill Anderson composition.

The thing I noticed about the latest stuff George has done is that besides his voice mellowing, and sounding better than ever, he has started singing in different keys.
"Somewhere Down In Texas" has tunes in a lot of different keys.
I think he sounds way different on "Give It Away" not like GS at all.

No it is not an old song. It is new and written by, Jamie Johnson and Bill Anderson. Heard then sing it a couple weeks ago on the Opry and Bill said it was Strait's new release for the next week.

The great thing about George is he can sound different with his vocals! He's very unique & that's why he's so successful!

Buddy Cannon co-wrote "Give It Away" along with Anderson & Johnson.
