Thanks for sharing.
I'm not sure a lot of folks know she started out as a jazz guitarist in the '50's but moved to bass because there was more work.

Carol was one of the first to use a pick on a fender bass. The recording engineers really dug the way it sounded and recorded, plus she's just flat out great on bass. She's on a number of hit songs, Beach Boys etc. |

This is the main reason I love going to the NAMM show every January! It's so cool to turn a corner an see a hero sitting there jamming!
I saw George in the Fender Booth last year just tearing it up!
