I am thinking about replacing the pickup on my Morrell lap steel? Do you have any recommendations?

I am interested in country & western swing, not distorted rock or blues.

I am open to routing the body if needed. It has a single coil currently.

Mike,

Rick Aiello and Jim Lollar put together the finest pickups available in the world today IMHO. Rick has researched the horseshoe pickup to the "nth" degree...Jim Lollar is world class pickup/bobbin winder (and also a luthier). Rick is a member of this forum. Why don't you give him a hit and let him know what you are looking for.
