Great cut Kurt! Also spotted Bobby Thompson on rhythm guitar and Dale Sellers (for a second at the end) on lead guitar.
One cool thing I noticed was the rhythm section going from the 4/4 shuffle to the uptempo cut-time on the last chorus.
Also, Conway's hair is amazing! I think it was made by Mattel. And he sure looks like he's having a great time up there.
I always dug Conway Twitty. I have a recording of him in the 60's doing "C'est Si Bonne" which is outstanding. And the flip side was a Jimmy Day tune entitled "I Hope, I Think, I Wish."

I get these feeds in a herky-jerky pattern. Can anyone tell me why. I'm computer illiterate. |

Click the Pause button and wait for the entire file to come in and it should play OK.
Is that a cast on Curly's left arm??? [This message was edited by Jim Phelps on 21 September 2006 at 07:35 PM.] |

Looked like a cast to me, that just proves that Curley could play better with a broken arm than most of us can with two perfect arms. LOL I liked his E9 playing just about as much as his C6th. Nashville Sundown is one of my favorite steel albums.

I always wondered how he got all those licks. Well, if you have to break your arm to get them, I give up. ![](http://steelguitarforum.com/wink.gif) |

That cast came from a disagreement with a drumer who shall remain namelss. I remember the time and think Curly played pretty good with a cast on. I sure miss Curly and those days. Bobby |
