Go to the show and check out Tom Killen on pedal steel. He'll be playing a sweet Sho~Bud and sounding like a million bucks.

I hope the stage is still not near the tractor pull. One year they started up the tractor pull at the same time as the show started. Ole Boxcar let them have it over the mike too. He stopped the band and said no music until they stopped the noise and called them complete morons. He won out too. This is a nice well attended fair that has always brought in Country acts. It is on though the same time as the New England States fair (the Big "E" I think they stole that title from Emmons) in Springfield Mass some 45-50 miles away which mostly brings in the latest supposedly major Country acts.

A bump of respect for the boy from Texas. I'm just thinking, how am I gonna get there for Friday @ 7:30. Talk about rushing. You have to park and take shuttle to the fair. I gotta be there for this.

Well, it's tomorrow night, the weather should be crisp/clear autumn. But, I am on call for my employer and can't get anyone to cover. I'm still gonna try to get this concert in. Anyone know what the current set list usually includes? I went to his web site and can't believe his tour schedule. It's very heavy. Also, anyone know whether cameras or things like binoculars are allowed at these type of events? Thanks.
