That's really good. But can he play "A Way to Survive"? |

Amazing playing but I've just never liked the sound produced by all hammer-ons, the attack and release of the notes sound like an old Atari video game to me. |

The articulation is a bit funky and all but I still found it interesting just for the sheer novelty of it. [This message was edited by Mike Shefrin on 31 July 2006 at 06:26 PM.] |

I've always loved that Prelude #3 by Bach.
The facial expressions are a crackup!
What's with the Duct tape or aluminum foil

That may be, however alot of the bands and players out there today in the "real world" have less skill than this guy. [This message was edited by Mike Shefrin on 01 August 2006 at 10:18 PM.] |

Mike, tappers have to mute the open strings. I got to watch Jennifer Batten up close. She has a mute that flips up out of the way when she needs to play "normally"

All these players are phenomenal , especially the Dutch kid playing the Oscar Peterson excerpt. I bet that with some effort each of them could learn to play Way To Survive.
