Not sure if this is the right place to post this - I am trying to find some help on the value of a 1959 gibson ES330TD (first year made)- It is original and in excellent shape with original hard shell tan with pink liner case and the "use Gibson Polish" tag was still on the handle - also has the Bigsby Tremolo with it but I don't think it was ever mounted. Has the plastic covered P-90's in it - and no weather checking.

Probably a couple of hundred. Where should I send the check? Seriously, a lot. My 1965 ES-175 has escalated, and any of the Gibsons from the 50's have gone out of sight (My sight, anyway).

There's a 1960 model on Ebay right now for "Buy It Now" $4,850. Vintage Gibson hollowbodies are worth a mint these days. Good on ya......

Hey Ron,
Do a Google search for Vitage Guitars. Most dealers won't give you a price, they want you to set a price so you need to look around to find one for sale.I have a Gibson Tal Farlow that I needed to get a appraisal on for insurance,I finally found one doing a Google seach.

Here is my 1968 ES330. Needs a fret job, but man does that thing sound good. Great neck also.

I traded a sunburst one that was absolutely mint for a new Taylor 710 a few years ago. I didn't have any use for the Gibson and loved the Taylor so at the time it was a good trade. The Gibson has of course appreciated quite a bit in the last few years. Oh well.

In excellent shape, probably around $4,500. (That's up almost 50% in the last 3-4 years!)

More and more people are "flipping" guitars like they do real estate, so most brands have seen a considerable appreciation in the last few years.
