At their lunch today (4/20), President Hu of China and President Bush will be entertained with Bluegrass music.

Does anyone know who the entertainers are?

Bluegrass for President Hu is not such an odd idea as you might think.
Many years ago my sister brought some green plastic flexi-disks back from a visit to China.
They are instrumental tracks played on traditional instruments. When I asked a Chinese student what the track titles were,(they were things like "Horses are busy collecing the Rice") she described the music as "Mongolian Bluegrass".
The tunes are pentatonic, the instrumentation sounds like fiddles and banjos, there is even a slide instrument of some kind. The tempo is frantic.
Prs Hu should feel right at home with NBB.
Cheers
Dave

I just came home from Washington D.C., there was a piece in todays Washington Post about several different major faux pas by the White House yesterday during President Hu's visit. Having Bluegrass music wasn't listed as a problem so it must have gone okay!
