This is the new Ravenwest K-2 T90. They gave it to me for free. It's the first guitar I've got with P-90s. Great tone, but too noisy to use for recording. This is one to take to clubs.

...Or, you could give it to the guy your dog knocked over..
Seriously, nice looking guitar. You might try some other P-90's in there to see about the noice factor.

Terry;
While ask for two at that price, I'll take one off your hand an pay you twice the price you'er getting it for. That will make your's free. I could even pick it up at your house no freight involved.

If they give 'em to you "for free", how do you think that makes the rest of us feel...having to buy one?

Mike, flip the magnets in one of the pups.At least it can be hum-cancelling when both are on. JP

I'd give him a guitar if he wants one, but he doesn't.

I gave him this mandolin, which is worth about $300. It's halfway decent, but nowhere near in the same league as my Rigels. I had intended to use it for things like camping trips and going to the beach.

Unless one p.u. is reverse-wound that'll put the two pickups out of phase and replace the normal two-pickup sound with a real tinny and nasal tone.

Have them send me one, too. I have room on my wall for a free guitar. It's real purty...

Is there any downside to these guitars?
They look nice and the price is right.

Pete. On some level that can't really be defined with words, certain guitars had an in definable quality that makes you think "Wow. this is really nice."

This guitar doesn't have that. It's OK, and with some tweaking (which I haven't done yet) will be a perfectly servicable guitar, but it doesn't have that certain somthing.

Then again, it's a cheap guitar, ($270) even by Asian Import standards. The K2 series is Ravenwest's budget line, and they are made in indonesia, not Korea or Japan.

For the money, it's not bad. But IMHO it is not in the same league as Ravenwest's Korean guitars.

I went to buy one of these this past weekend. They couldn't sell me one, they were fresh out.
Someone must be hoarding them.

Jim Phelps, you are correct, you also have to switch the leads to put the pups back in phase. JP
