I seen her on ACL not too long ago, bass, lead guitar (who rocked and even played a Takamine acoustic on a couple, is that a sponsorship thing?), other guitar (who did not rock quite so much), drums, and then the utility key/perc/jawharp guy.

I just wondered because I heard on the radio today that she'll be at one of the big beach clubs in Destin, Florida sometime in April. I might just go anyway. Lord knows, I like Blondes! |

Her dad is a steel player and used to play with her. She doesn't use one now, because I guess it's no longer cool. Her bass player is a good friend of mine. He has a fire-red mohawk. |

Chris, He was cue-ball bald on the ACL broadcast. Pretty tan, too. Reckon this was a long time ago or following a recent shaving? |

Miranda grew up in Lindale, about 9 miles from Mineola. I saw her in several local festivals and talent shows. In my opinion, she was way more country than she is now. The CD she did pre-Sony was much better than her new stuff. I think it is a good example( mentioned here several times ) how a real country artist goes to Nashville and gets converted to todays rock country.

Scotty Wray, who I think, has been with her from just about the start, will probably play a little lap steel. I don't know how "country" it will be. He used to do a mean Cheatin' Heart many years ago on it, but mostly David Lindley kind of playing. He's the one singing most of the harmony, and playing the accoustic, (which I think is the same Tak he's had for years), and elelctric guitars. If you get to talk to him, tell him hello from Les & Anita, if you would.
