The words go something like this:
Horray, Horray,
Hear his happy sleigh
Jing a' ling
Jing a' ling
Jing a' ling
Jing a' ling
Santa's On His Way
Be Good, Be Good
Promise To Be Good
He's bringing Toys for girls and boys
Who promise to be good....
Something like that. I first heard it on an episode of "The Simpsons". This song was playing out at the end of the show. I didn't see any credits listed. I know it was Bob Wills.
Anyone have a clue as to the title? Is it still available?
Thanks,

The song is called (oddly enough) "Santa`s on His Way". It`s available on the new Bear Family box "Faded Love-1947-1973." The BF boxes will set you back some serious change but are are well worth it to the hard core collector/Wills freak. You might find it some where else (you might try some Country Christmas CDs,Wills+Company were recording for MGM when they cut this tune),but frankly I doubt it.
Herb Remington on steel, BTW.
The Simpsons remains the hippest show on network TV, year in year out, IMHO. |

Hey Mike, Thanks for the info. Yes, I'm a hardcore Simpsons nut myself. I own all of the DVD Box Sets, books, action figures, clothes, you name it. When I heard Bob Wills on the show, I knew that I hadn't been wasting my time all these years. "Hip" is the word.
Thanks,
