I know this will be a big treat for you. Following her last, lip-NON-synching disaster on Saturday Night Live, Ashlee made the mistake of trying to actually SING, out loud, at the Orange Bowl. Whooee! If Ashlee’s talent again proves to be too much to take tonight, over on the WB network there’s this movie:
“Island of the Dead” - (A businessman, a detective and an ex-convict are among those stranded on a deserted island with a swarm of mutant flies.)
Sounds like they might be better off there.

Ashlee did ok! She redeemed herself.
I tuned in to see Jon Heder host the show. Jon starred in "Napoleon Dynamite".
A liger is pretty much my favorite animal.
Sweet! |

She hit her pitches OK, as long as stays away from torch singer delusions and sticks to that wheedly "poor-little-me" style that Avril Lavigne and Michelle Branch are mining she may be able to eke out a few million. A larger question to me is, why does THE MACHINE keep trying to force these barely talented children down our throats when there are so many really talented people out there? Yes you have to be young, skinny and attractive, but there are still a lot of people who qualify for that who can really sing too. |

I thought it was really bad when she faked her vocals. Now I think it's really bad that she didn't. |

Because it is easier for the industry to manipulate them and make them do exactly what they want, in order to make the most profit.
Really talented people tend to want some sort of control over their career, and the industry can't have any of that.....

Steinar got that right.
Weeeeell,
at least this time she couldn't sing for herself,
rather than not being able to sing on tape loop.
Maybe she has been getting almost able to singing lessons?
As to the machine, well isn't her sis in The Dukes Of Hazard remake?
Wallowing in too much class this family. |
