Good group, nice guitar playing and tone too.
I've always really enjoyed playing in this kind of band, but always played regular guitar in this kind of music... hate to admit it but playing the steel in R&B never even occurred to me, it just seemed natural to play guitar but now I'd think of trying steel in anything.... I'm trying to think of something to play it on in my Mexican fiesta band... I'm sure you'll think of some great tunes to work it into the band.

Actually,JP(that's weird!),Ive brought the steel out and did Black Coffee, Blue Bayou, and a few others, but it doesn't seem worth the trouble for 3 or 4 songs.
Glad you liked it.

I play steel in my 2 other groups, one straight country, so maybe 75% steel, the other I call the "hippy" group, we do some NRPS and a lotta originls by a locl dude, Tom Wood. I'm not ready to post any of those clips!! JP |
