I did see Duke Robillard. He was playing at The Blues Tent and I left the Lucinda interview to see him.

I guess it all comes down to common courtesy and the common sense to do the right thing by others. Some people just don't have it and perhaps they don't even have a clue about how they affect other people.

Perhaps I don't know the half of it never having been a performer.

Geez,, I'm always late as were the bands I played with... It NEVER bothered me at all if we'd start at 9;20 or 9:30 on a 9 o'clock start because we would PACK the house, play for 2 hours non stop, take ONE 15-20 minute break then go on for a second 1 1/2 -2 hour set.
Often, we'd play an extra 20 min or so if the room was still full and wanting to hear us.. We were always booked solid 18 months in advance so obviously our tardiness NEVER bothered the owners..
As a matter of fact, most treated us like gold.. bad attitude on my part??.. maybe, but its all about the money.. as long as our club owner friends were getting fat on our music, not an angry word was ever spoken.. We set our own "on time"... bob
