Looks like George is into it. Jimmy Peppers wrote a song for Jones "Tonight I just don't give a damn" about Jones not wanting to do the Opry one night.

Yeah,Jack-I think George was maybe a little fired up standing next to one of his heroes...I know I was happy to be there with both of them...Buck-I don't know what you mean...we both made it a point to remain clear-headed at all times back in those days...didn't we?

Here's one of Jimmy Peppers and George, back when Peppers was the band manger for Jones, and did some harmony singing. I'd guess early 70's (in the "no show" days).
