While listening to X-M Radio, yesterday,"Pauline Reese" did a version of NL and the steel was truly great. It was played with great feeling and had super tone. Does anybody know, who the steeler is? |

Tommy did a great solo on Pauline's recording of NL. She cut the song in the key of B, so a lot of the "traditional" positions for that tune are out the window. Tommy rose to the task with a memorable performance, IMHO.

Toy Caldwell had a great version even though his guitar was out of tune, classic Toy, but it had some nice steel work also. Toy was the guitar player for Marshall Tucker Band. |

Thanks, so much, for the prompt reply. That's the first time I'd heard the cut. Some great playing there. |
