Ok, let me see if I can formulate this right. He played dobro on The Mel Tillis hit, "Good Woman Blues". It was not Jerry Douglas,Mike Auldrich, Rob Ickes or Buck Graves. In fact that was not his primary musical instrument. Peter. |

Lem you must have been a mindreader in your last life. I gave it away with the employment reference...in the middle seventies Pete Drake had his own little studio(Pete's Place?) and gave a lot of up and comers an entrance into the recording business, including Paul Franklin and Jeff Newman. He was a really generous man...Peter |

I have to say you are correct, in that the employer part is what pretty much nailed it. But still...maybe I could get me a 900 number and be a psychic friend!
