This early eighties No 1 country hit featured only steel guitar harmonics and no steel fills at all throughout the entire song. It also featured harmonics on the modulation. What an ingenious idea. |

I'm sorry, the early eighties are all a fog shrouded California experience. Came too soon after the '70's. Now, last week I might remember... ![](http://steelguitarforum.com/smile.gif) |

Lets forget about the Jeopardy format. What's at play here is the name of the song which features a very prominent Forum member. It is interesting because he never played any steel fills on this particular song just harmonics; he played on lots of other records by this artist and was on the road with him for twenty years. That should narrow it down a little don't you guys have any unfound feelings?. By the way the first post had a hint consider the term ingenious and break it down into parts, it makes a good fit [This message was edited by Peter Dollard on 22 February 2005 at 01:44 PM.] |

Lem, it's an incomplete sentence (structuraly), so I believe your award should be passed to David Wright. He's pretty much ALWAYS Wright!! ![A+](http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_3_11v.gif) |
