Pedal Steel Artists......Funk, Blues, Groove

Its like a ghost town here when trying to find funky pedal steel. The music stores and library have one or two country albums only.

I've looked on the forum and came up with an album by Ron Turner #C-RT01S.
Are there any suggestions of material available from the forum? Or elsewhere?

Sonny Garrish did a great record called Country Soul Stew, or something like that. I always wished he'd make another record like in that direction. It was kind of like 60's R&B mixed with country.

3Now4 - Time Ebbing

It's more of a jazz based sound, but there's some serious New Orleans funk going on throughout. Both 3Now4 releases are outstanding if you like groove/improv based jazz.

Dave Easley on Steel. It's only a 4 piece combo, so he gets plenty of room.
