Rolling Stone has determined that the all time number one song is... (drumroll, please)... "Like a Rolling Stone". And here I thought it was "Raising the Dickens". |

Wait a minute. Doesn't a song have to have a melody? |

I haven't seen the article. Is it really the best song of "all time" or just the rock era. If it's all time, they've got to include things like Greensleeves, White Xmas, San Antonio Rose, Halleluljah Chorus and Camptown Races. |

Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art. |

Rap is people talking when they should be singing. As opposed to Opera, which is people singing when they should be talking! LOL. |

Don,
I used to think that too, until my son became a rapper. Well,he sings and raps. But he has something most rappers don't have...TALENT . I told him he would no go far in the music business, because for the most part, talent is not a nessecity.

If Rolling Stone magazine really wanted to show prejudice, their choice would have been Shel Silverstein's "On the cover of the Rollling Stone" , recorded by Dr Hook back in '73... |
