Well, Christmas is almost here once again. Is anyone getting a new steel or products? I am putting in my wish to Mrs. Clause hoping for maybe a new video or a new effects gadget. I could settle for nothing as long as my children have a nice Christmas, that is what really matters to me. Happy Holidays to all my forum friends and best wishes for the coming year.

I will be happy with little to nothing, since I bought my guitar this year. However, what does it matter compared to health, happiness, the stars in children's eyes, family in from out of town, drop-in's by friends (and visits at their place), two weeks off (teacher's spoils), pretty much in that order!

Happy Holidays, Everyone.

I'm getting two prestnts early. I got one last friday night at 10:38 a 7pound 1.4 once grand daughter, my first. Me and my wife are getting the other one thursday. We are leaving for a five day Southern Gospel cruise to the Bahamas that leaves Jacksonville on saturday, our 21st honeymoon.

Larry, Congratulations to you and the Mrs. on the arrival of your grandchild. I noticed you said it was your first so I guess that means maybe there will be more grandchildren to come. Also, I hope you enjoy the cruise and especially the playing and singing. I like Southern Gospel as well and hopefully they will have some live bands to sing with.

The Mrs. and myself have cut waaaaaaaaaay back on Christmas "getting". We have 5 grandchildren and they are the only ones that will be "getting" this Christmas. When you get a little long in the tooth like myself, the grandkids take precedence over most everything.
Larry, congratulations on the grand baby!

BTW: Ole and Lena had a baby and it only weighted 3 pounds. Ole's friends were giving him a bad time about it and Ole said: "Well, what do you expect, we've only been married 4 months!!"

Wrong question. The issue is - what is my 4 year old daughter getting............
Since I have more steels, amps and gadgets than the law allows,I'd just like to get thru the holidays with the bills paid. However,if there;s any money left in Santa's wallet,I might ask him for one of these:

I'm (goin' to the store an') getting as many gifts as I can afford to give. I already received my Christmas gifts when my wife recovered from a mysterious illness earlier this year and my folks survived hurricane Charley without getting hurt. Thank-you Jesus.

Merry Christmas, ya'll!

Keep on pickin'!

Two things on my list. I'm getting one of my dad's old ZB's that he bought in 68 and on my wish list is a great little gadget called a guitar trainer. I saw Charles Tilly using one and its great for playing along with rythm tracks.

I'll be getting a Shelton B-Bender installed in my main Telecaster. My wife said I could have it so that's cool. Problem is they can't do it until January so I'll have to wait for it......JH

So far it's shaping up pretty fair. I've got a slightly used Carter coming in a week and we made a deal to buy a house out on Old Hickory Lake. The only trouble is I've got to get this place ready to sell and then there's the move! All of this and Christmas too. It's going to be real busy around here for the next couple of months but we'll be real close to that water now. I expect those long drives to the lake are over now.

Oh I was hoping for a new D10 RAINS guitar. But I'm betting its gonna be something non musical, like maybe some new power tool or something like that. I asked for Lowes or Home Depot gift cards, In order to satisfy my OTHER obsession.
