He's wasn't a Steel Player, though, so I've moved this topic to the Music section. |

Damir - GREAT gift!!
The first album I owned was Hymns by Johnny Cash.(1957) My twin sister and I shared a room our entire youth, so the album got plenty of wear. We were 12 years old, and could sing along with Johnny to every word on the record.
For our 51st birthday, she gave me the CD compilation and remake of the album. Neither of our guys had ever heard the record or any of the songs on it. (Johnny Cash had written all the songs.) She put it on our CD player, turned the volume up to a dangerous level, and we both sang every word of every song two times around. We got a little confused and stole each others parts on some of the tunes, but all in all did ok and had the most fun we'd had in years. Tommy and David tried to leave the room, but it was OUR birthday and we made them stay. It was an awesome gift!!!! This year, she gave me a lift-size cut out of Roudy Yates with a real bandana around his neck. He was our TV idol. Nothing like a gift with a meaning and from the heart!!!!
Sounds like you have a terrific wife!! |

My wife and I just celebrated our 40th
and our 6 children got together and are sending us to Williamsburg, VA for a week.
We leave on monday morn. We can't wait!
W.C. Fields said, "If you have a choice between children and tomatos, raise tomatos
cuz at least you can eat them." Well, W.C.
was wrong!! |
